The Center for Science in the Public Interest Completes TSOD Team Building
March 26, 2001
(Washington, DC) Training Services On Demand completed an MBTI®-based Team Building workshop for the headquarters staff of The Center for Science in the Public Interest. The program provided participants with an increased awareness of interpersonal and professional relationship dynamics, providing a basis for them to function on a true team basis. As part of the workshop, each participant received a complete MBTI® assessment revealing how that person tends to participate on a team, communicate, make decisions, and organize tasks and priorities.
The Center for Science in the Public Interest has been a strong advocate for nutrition and health, food safety, alcohol policy, and sound science. Founded by a group of scientists, CSPI carved out a niche as the organized voice of the American public on nutrition, food safety, health and other issues during a boom of consumer and environmental protection awareness in the early 1970s. Its award-winning newsletter, Nutrition Action Healthletter, with some 900,000 subscribers in the United States and Canada, is the largest-circulation health newsletter in North America.
