(Lockland, Ohio) Training Services On Demand (TSOD) conducted a ''Discover
Diversity'' Workshop for Evonik Degussa employees at the company's Lockland, Ohio pigments plant. TSOD's Diversity workshop uses video vignettes and interactive exercises to illustrate the emerging issues associated with employee multiculturalism. Participants go beyond legal standards training to gain an appreciation for the respectful workplace standard: The attitudes and behaviors that define professionalism and appropriate conduct in the 21st-century American workplace.
Evonik Degussa Corporation is the North America arm of German chemical giant, Evonik Degussa GmbH. Like its parent, it operates through six divisions, the biggest of which are Industrial Chemicals (chlorides and peroxides) and Inorganic Materials (silicon products and carbon black).
