Navy Information Technology Professionals Benefit from TSOD Team Building

(Harrisburg, Pennsylvania)   Training Services On Demand (TSOD) provided Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®-based Team Building and Applied Team Building training for professionals in the Naval Support Activity's Information Systems group in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.  Participants gained a heightened awareness of themselves and their colleagues: How they naturally communicate, make decisions, and form relationships.   During the workshop, team members participated in activities that clarified team dynamics and challenges. Naval Support Activity Mechanicsburg has approximately 4,500 military members, civilians and contractors that support over 30 tenant activities or commands. The largest of these are the Naval Inventory Control Point Mechanicsburg, with approximately 1,300 personnel and the Navy Supply Information Systems Activity, with approximately 1,000 personnel. The base also hosts the headquarters staff of the Naval Supply Systems Command, which has a complement of approximately 350 personnel. The mission of the U.S. Navy is to maintain, train and equip combat-ready Naval forces capable of winning wars, deterring aggression and maintaining freedom of the seas.
