Nova Chemicals Shift Coaches Benefit from TSOD Team Development Programs
June 23, 2005
(Boston, Massachusetts) Training Services On Demand (TSOD) provided a Team Building workshop for shift coaches from Nova Chemicals' Indian Orchard (Massachusetts) facility. Participants gained a heightened awareness of themselves and their colleagues: How they naturally communicate (or fail to communicate), make decisions (or fail to do so), and form relationships (or not). During the workshop, team members participated in activities that clarified team dynamics and challenges. Each participant received a personalized MBTI® profile that detailed their workplace preferences and their team development opportunities.
In addition, the workshop included TSOD's AdvanTeam team development system. AdvanTeam includes a fifteen-to twenty-minute interview with each member of a team, followedusually two weeks laterby a professionally facilitated team workshop. The goal of the program is to identify a team's developmental issues and create a forward-thinking environment in which to resolve those issues.
