(Buffalo, New York) Training Services On Demand, Inc. (TSOD) recently completed a series of business writing workshops for Customs and Border Protection supervisors, according to Marcia George, customer
service director for TSOD. The workshops were conducted onsite at crossing
ports along the U.S. border with Canada, and at the Customs and Border
Protection regional office in Buffalo, New York.
"We're overjoyed to work with these frontline professionals in the war on
terror as they strive to make their communication products more precise," said
Frank Whyte, chief instructor for Training Services On Demand and a presenter
at the business writing workshops.
TSOD's team-focused business writing workshops upgrade editorial skills and
effectiveness across entire workgroups. Participants review the essential
elements of good writing, learn easy ways to liven-up their documents, and
discover how savvy editing can boost communication effectiveness.
"If our efforts increased the efficiency or enhanced the professionalism of an
already well-regarded agency, we view this contract as a highlight of our
year's endeavors," Whyte said.
