    About the Workshop Participant Guide

      As part of your Applied MBTI® Team Building Workshop, you'll receive an interactive workbook that you—and your team—will customize throughout the program.

      The course workbook is divided into four sections:

      • Personality Type and Communication explores how your team currently communicates, how different personality types tend (and possibly need) to communicate, and what challenges occur in teams when communication channels run skew to one another.

        Using MBTI® in Teams

      • Personality Type and Conflict provides resource information for discussions and small-team exercises on how different personality types perceive conflict and how they deal with it. In addition, the book lists ten Best Practice ground rules for conflict resolution, which your group will expand upon to create a team conflict treaty.

      • Personality Type and Change discusses the differing perceptions and reactions to change, paving the way for interactive discussions on change management. You'll discover how reactions to change--even positive change--can be predicted and managed. In addition, you'll explore the stages of grief, which naturally accompany workplace change.

      • The Implications of Differences includes a series of essential small-team exercises on how different personality types interrelate. You'll consider how each personality dichotomy affects peer-to-peer, supervisor-to-subordinate, and internal-external team relationships. This understandable, usable, application-level resource for successful team integration is found only in TSOD's Applied Team Building workbook.
