Minimum and Maximum Enrollment
You'll find specific recommendations on course enrollment in the individual course brochures, which can be accessed through the Course Catalog.
For general guidance...
- We generally recommend a minimum of seven to ten participants, since very small groups lack the diversity of perspective required for effective interaction. In addition, per-person tuition rates may prove impractical for very small groups.
- Groups larger than 40 persons may prove logistically complicated, and generally require more classroom time than smaller courses.
- Some courses, particularly those involving videotaping sessions (2-day Presentation Skills and MediaSavvy courses), are strictly limited in attendance to ensure the completion of interactive exercises.
- Convention and conference sessions are designed for large audiences; enrollment is not limited.
